One of the few downsides of what many deem the gold standard in terms of private communication.
Unfortunately uses Cloudflare CDN when sending media and checking for updates. My heart was just shattered when I found out.

Analysis: Damn, I guess Signal really does deserve its title of being the ruler of the encrypted communication kingdom. Not all services can easily get an S on this bad boy of mine yet this service came, saw, and conquered despite the negatives it got on the first half. I can easily recommend anyone to use this service over most of the competition and I urge everyone to get their family and friends to switch over. You never know when your country becomes a member of the oppressive regime club.
